BECOME A HOLISTIC ‘NUTRISHIONISTA™’ AT THE HOTEL CIPRIANI

05 April 2006

This May, the Hotel Cipriani in Venice is teaming up with certified nutritionist Mary Kent Hearon and fashion expert Elisa Rusconi, to offer guests the opportunity to become a ‘Nutrishionista™’ with a three-day course designed to enlighten guests on how looking good and feeling good are inextricably intertwined.

The ‘Nutrishionista™’ programme was designed by Mary Kent Hearon, a nutritional and holistic health counsellor and fashion expert Elisa Rusconi, former public relations manager for Yves St. Laurent in London and a Harper’s Bazaar correspondent in Paris. Together, known as the Beet Girls, their mission is to transform individuals from the inside out through education and inspiration.  Additional details are available on their newsletter at www.weeklybeet.com or new website at www.nutrishionista.com

The ‘Nutrishionista™’ programme will be running at the Hotel Cipriani for the first time between 8-13 May, 2006 and includes:

• Welcome ‘juicing cocktail’ upon arrival
• A ‘fashionably healthy’ shopping tour of Venice with the Beet Girls
• Daily one-on-one nutritional and fashion consultations with the Beet Girls
• Three nights accommodation with full American or dietetic breakfast daily
• Personalised in-room wellness kit containing natural oils and snacks
• Choice of lunch or dinner during the three days (beverages excluded)
• A Beet Girls T-Shirt and subscription to ‘The Weekly Beet’ newsletter

The cost for the three-day programme is €1,050 (*£725.51) based on double occupancy.

The ‘Nutrishionista™’ programme is just one of a number of packages available at the Hotel Cipriani this year. The hotel is also offering an opera package, in conjunction with the newly renovated La Fenice Opera House; the popular bridge session, with instruction from
August W. Boehm; and a guest chef programme with two-Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, and Ezio and Renata Santin from the restaurant Antica Osteria Del Ponte in Milan, Italy.

The hotel has also undergone some updates this year, including the restoration of the Fortuny Bar, LCD TV screens in all guestrooms, high-speed wireless Internet and the addition of private cabanas at the world-famous pool.

Hotel Cipriani is set in a tranquil location across the lagoon and is just five minutes by complimentary shuttle boat from Piazza San Marco. It has an Olympic sized saltwater swimming pool heated to 90ºF and is celebrated the world over for its mouth-watering cuisine and impeccable style.
